Our People

Our qualified teaching teams share a genuine passion for teaching and learning. This is supported by regular professional development and paid professional time for assessment, programme planning and teacher meetings. The result of this combination has seen us create dynamic, progressive learning programmes for our children. Our very low turnover of teachers enables children and families to build connections and relationships with the teaching teams, which is fundamental for quality learning environments. It also shows that our teachers are happy and rewarded in their jobs.

Jane Foster and Gerdi Schumann make up the Management team for both preschools and provide an important link between the preschools, teachers, parents and community. Arrowtown Preschool is governed by elected members of our Arrowtown Preschool Incorporated Society.
