Both our Preschools are heavily involved in the Arrowtown Community, from contributing to the Autumn Festival Parade to preparing entries for the Spring Flower Show and spending time out and about. We love to get involved in a wide range of experiences and our Nature Based Programme’s see our children spending time in reserve areas around Bush Creek and Arrow River weekly and all year round.
Our Kaiako regularly attend a range of Professional Development Conferences and seminars, ensuring we are up to date and on the leading edge of Early Childhood Education trends.
Our kaiako have a collaborative relationship with the new entrant teachers at Arrowtown Primary School, sharing professional development and dialogue to ensure the smoothest possible transition for children. Part of the transition includes regular visits to school for children both with parents and impromptu visit with Preschool Kaiako in our Preschool Van.
Our Kaiako also work closely with other schools in the wider Wakatipu Basin, to ensure smooth transitions for children who may be attending these schools.
